113th Boston Marathon

Last year when I ran the St. George Marathon, I qualified to run Boston.   My running group and I quickly decided we were going and after six very long months of talking about Boston, thinking about Boston, planning training runs for Boston and more talking about Boston we were finally on our way.  We had a great time site seeing and touring the city.   We saw a Red Sox game and Kara Goucher and Alberto Salazar running.  The highlight was however the marathon.  It was like nothing we had ever experienced  before and nothing will ever compare.  I finished with a 3:47:03 and was very happy.  I felt great the entire race and especially the second half, including the infamous Heartbreak Hill.  Now on to preparing for the next marathon.
