Holiday Catch Up

I have been a terrible lazy blogger and it is time to catch up before I head back to India. We had a wonderful holiday season. We spent Thanksgiving in St. George with my family and then were at home for Christmas and New Years. My parents came up the weekend before and spent a few days. We missed Jay's Mom and Sylvan while they were in Georgia and look forward to seeing them at the end of January. I apologize for the long, long post.

Camdyn and Briggs making pilgrim hats out of cookies and peanut butter cups - YUMMO!

Such a nice patient Grandma to help so many crazy kids!

Jay showing off is mad Wii bowling skills

Speed Scrabble

Lights at Temple Square - Such a happy family

On Christmas Eve we have a few traditions. We spend it with our neighbors Austin and Sharon Amundson. We have a great time eating clam chowder and chicken wings. It is their tradition and the kids love it. We follow it up with the traditional reading of the Christmas Story from Luke and then all heck breaks lose and we have a marshmellow war - each man for himself.

The kids felt Santa needed a little more than Milk and Cookies and that he might like and itunes gift card - Lucky Santa!

Izzie got an ipod Nano

Libby got an American Girl Bitty Baby - I am not sure who was more excited, her or her mom.

Camdyn wanted "Bendaroos" Santa got them for $19.95 and if he was smart and called in the next 15 minutes he got a double order. They ended up being a much better gift than I could have ever imagined.

Jake received a Wilson A2000 baseball glove

I gave Jay some framed pictures from our trip to Fenway Park this summer.

I apologize for the long post - you are a trooper if you made it this far. Hope you had a great 2008 and that 2009 is a wonderful year!
