Chili's must love me

I was a little concerned when I got my dinner tonight and it was in such a big box, but no concern was needed. Chili's just must love me, because the didn't let my food touch. Who else would be so thoughtful when they packed my togo box? So in return, I love Chili's too.

Quick Update

Week one in Texas was crazy. Work went really well but I quickly realized I no longer have any control over my schedule and days......I am pretty much at the mercy of everyone else. This was my schedule the first week and next week isn't much better.





Weekend Update:

I was so glad to get home on Friday and go to AB's for a shake, some onion rings and lots and lots of grease...YUMMY!

Saturday was spent packing 15 rought totes full of stuff and two van loads of stuff to the DI and we have so much left to do.

I also got to babysit three of the cutest kids I know. Some good friends of ours had a date so they let us watch their three kids ages 3, 18 months and 2 weeks. Good, Crazy times.

More and more packing, cleaning taking photos of the house and my time home was half over. Today has been spent with my nursery kiddos, dinner with my sister and her family and back on a plane.

Starting to pack. Yes, lots of running clothes, but only because most the work clothes already reside in Texas and are in the care of the dry cleaners.

Hoping time truly flies and we will all be living together soon!

Is Everything Really Bigger in Texas?

Is everything really bigger in Texas? The Hinton Family is about to find out. I have accepted a position with my employer in our Fort Worth office. It has been an interesting few weeks as we have debated the decision, prayed, talked to the kiddos, hunted for a house, found a house, researched schools, all while not being able to tell anyone. The announcement was made today and I start Monday and will commute back to Salt Lake on the weekends until school is finished and then we will make the big trek. We are very excited for this new opportunity and experience and hope that the next 8 weeks are as smooth as possible.

This also means we are selling our Salt Lake home. If you are interested in a beautiful family home with a pool and great schools let me know.

Back Home

I am back home. 36 hours of flying and travel and it is so good to be at in my own home, with crazy kiddos, lots of laundry and daily to-do's and life is good.

I have a new computer program and tried to redo my banner and it didn't work out well......at all, so it is still March here and I need to get it changed but life is speeding right by and I am trying to embrace life and let some of the little things go. So maybe tomorrow, maybe this week and maybe we will just bypass April and soon it will be May.

This week we get to spend time at Jake's ballgames, cleaning the house, trying to finish projects I started before I left and hoping I can accomplish most of it, I will have to post an update along the way.....maybe this could be some good motivation.

Indian Gombu

Lots to say about the trip so far but not today. I have the Indian Gombu..........so, so sick. The doctor has come, given shots and prescriptions and spent the last 36 hours in bed, can't wait to feel better.
